Patchy is portrayed by SpongeBob's voice actor, Tom Kenny, and first appears in the episode "Christmas Who?" I watched that episode when it first aired as an eight-year-old, and I literally thought it was the end of Spongebob when they showed that. I was crying right along with Patchy until Potty spoke up and said there was more.
