Web Reference: After Thrasher suffered a knee injury in May 1999, Warrington was renamed "Beaver Cleavage", a reference to the TV series Leave It to Beaver. Sometimes, WWE crosses a line when it comes to their characters, occasionally bordering on the offensive, and even bordering on the uncomfortable. Beaver Cleavage fell into that category and remains one of the more disturbing characters of all time. The Headbangers (Mosh & Thrasher) were a popular tag team act during the Attitude Era, but things switched in 1999 when Thrasher suffered an injury, and Mosh was repackaged as Beaver Cleavage. Beaver Cleavage was a take on Leave It Beaver, but with more sexual tension between Beaver and his mother. The gimmick was quickly dropped.
